Ultram.
Ultram (tramadol) is an efficient opiate agonist prescribed for the treatment of pain from mild to moderate, as well as some other medical conditions if prescribed so by your health care provider. Ultram needs to be taken exactly as recommended, and any side effects you get should be reported to your doctor only if they get bothersome or interfere with the success of your treatment. The following side effects are sometime experienced: heartburn, nervousness, dizziness, weakness, indigestion, vomiting, constipation, sweating, drowsiness, agitation, diarrhea, dry mouth, sleepiness, headache, itching, nausea, chills, or changes in mood. More serious side effects are also possible, although less likely and can be any of the following: hallucinations, flu-like symptoms, hoarseness, swelling of the face, throat, tongue, difficulty swallowing or breathing, seizures, hives, or rash. Take Ultram every 4-6 hours, or once a day if you have been prescribed the extended-release form. If you missed a dose – take it as soon as possible unless it's time to take the next one. In that case you can skip the dose missed to avoid taking too much of this medication.
